The travel sales panel was set up in 2004 by the Nuremberg market research company GfK and adopted in the spring of 2019 by Travel Data + Analytics with the aim of better reflecting the requirements of tourism enterprises regarding modern data management as a strategic management tool and to open further product segments of tourism. 

Travel Data + Analytics GmbH was founded in April 2019 by Dr. Markus Heller, a well-versed expert in the tourism industry. He is assisted by the experienced team of Travel Insights experts who have been leading the travel sales panel for many years.
